General Manager of Vertical, Senior Lecturer, and Leadership Expeditions Guide

Kiko has taken part in a number of ascents all over the world. He is a member of Team Cumbres Australes, with whom he has undertaken numerous expeditions and first ascents in Patagonia, Indonesia and Alaska.

His winter climb of Mount San Valentin, the highest peak of Patagonia, is noteworthy. In 2002, Kiko took part in the Chilean Antarctic expedition, the first unsupported crossing of the Ellsworth Mountains Range. In May 2004 and 2012 he reached the summit of Mount Everest. In 2005, he climbed the highest mountains of Alaska (Mount McKinley) and Indonesia (Carstensz Pyramid). In 2006, he added Mt. Lhotse, the world’s 4th highest mountain, to his list of summits. In 2008, Kiko participated in an expedition to Greenland to study the impact of climate change on the country's glaciers. He recently led the successful Chilean Expedition to Mount Everest where they reached the summit thought the North Side.

He has led all of the Wharton Leadership Expeditions to Chile and Antarctica since 2004.
