Description
High-Altitude Mountaineering, Navigation, Backpacking, Glacier/Snow Travel, Tent Camping, and Route Finding.
The Andes Mountains are the longest continental mountain range in the world. Over the course of one-week, participants will learn the concept of “Climb High, Sleep Low” to properly acclimatize like a real High-Altitude Mountaineering expedition. Working within teams to set pace, route find, camp, and create a successful dynamic will be challenging, but incredibly rewarding on this unique mountain filled with Incan history. Climbing Cerro El Plomo gives one a incredible view of neighboring peaks including Aconcagua (the highest peak in South America) along with the lush valleys below.
